As Mindset's Co-Founder and Director of the Technical Delivery Unit, Anas has led and provided technical support for numerous large-scale national and international research and evaluation projects, focusing on development and humanitarian contexts in the Middle East region and Africa.
Anas is a highly experienced social research technical and MEL advisor with over 18 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing MEL systems and frameworks for development and humanitarian programs. In addition to developing MEL frameworks and systems, he has supervised data collection and analysis activities to ensure high-quality and reliable data. His experience in development and humanitarian projects spans protection, displacement, economic empowerment, education, health, and livelihoods.
Anas holds a bachelor’s degree in economics with Mathematical Emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. With a strong background in statistics, he excels in conducting quantitative and qualitative data analysis to generate actionable insights and recommendations for project stakeholders. Indeed, his expertise spans the full research process continuum, from proposal development to delivering practical, value-added results to clients.
